Button Cake

My button cake. 
This was my first time covering a cake with MMF. 
I struggled a bit because the marshmallow fondant was softer than the 
plastic icing I buy at the shop/store.

My crumb coat. Then came a second coat of butter cream icing :)

This was my marshmallow fondant. The MMF recipe is in previous post.

Mix icing sugar with the melted marshmallows.

Knead the MMF and colour if needed with colour food paste. 

The whole cake has been covered with the marshmallow fondant I made.

MMF taste better but using it was not easier for me. I prefer the plastic icing.
I find it is easier to mould and dries quicker.

Making the marshmallow fondant was also more expensive in my country.
Buying the ready made white plastic icing would have been less expensive.


It was a trying time working with MMF. 
I need to pratice more (**;) and then I might feel differently.
